PHASE 1: Online Registration and Confirmation
Once you have registered online either from https://biboglobal.com/ or to https://bibo.com.ph/apply/ , you will received an email confirmation about your online registration. It would be better to register on Mondays so that your online application will be reviewed immediately.

PHASE 2: The Phone Interview
On the 6th day, upon online registration, I received an SMS for a short interview. The short interview lasted for more or less 5 minutes only. On that time, I was asked to briefly introduce myself and my work experience.
The key here is to speak slowly and clearly. Watch out for your grammar and sentence construction as well.Lastly, sell yourself through your work experience especially in the teaching aspect.If you are a fresh graduate with no or little experience, you also need to be confident enough that you can do the job and you are willing to learn.At the end of the phone interview, the representative then asked me what are the good qualities of a good teacher. That makes sense, because you are applying for an Online English Teacher. Likewise, be brief and concise. I will create more articles on how to pass job interviews in the future.
The representative will right then and there inform you if you pass or failed. If you failed, you may want to ask the representative his or her recommendations. You can still reapply according to their terms of service.
If you successfully pass, congratulations!, you are now one step closer to your job offer. The representative will now send an email that contains the next steps that you need to accomplish.

PHASE 3: Orientation, Training, Demo and Online Profile Activation
Depending on your location, you will be specifically instructed on what to do next after passing the phone interview. In my case, since I am near the main office in Makati, I was scheduled for an Orientation, Training, Demo and Online Profile Activation, the next business day on their main office.
This is a whole day process where in you need to attend the orientation. After which, a return-demo will be conducted followed by your final demo that will make or break your job offer. The confirmation email that you received on Phase 2 contains the training materials that you need to study before attending the orientation.
It is very overwhelming at first but no worries, I am here to help you pass this final assessment stage. All you have to do is:
Read and study the training materials sent to you.Listen attentively during the orientation program.Follow the "Lesson Flow" accurately.Speak slowly and clearly. No fancy words. Brief and concise.Do not forget to smile and enjoy teaching on your final demo.Believe it or not, your smile can give a lot of impact for you to get hired.
Always remember the Lesson Flow and do not forget to smile during the actual demonstration with your student. That is the key in passing the final assessment. What you saw on the training video is actually what you will do during your final demo. The final demo will only last for 10 minutes. You will then be advised if you have passed the final assessment or not. If you followed the 5 simple steps above, surely you will pass the final assessment.
Another final orientation will be conducted for your responsibilities as a teacher, payment methods and how to use the exclusive lesson materials. Like always, do not worry because there a lot of teaching materials and tutorial videos that you can use as reference once you start teaching.
Once the final orientation is done, you will now create your online teacher account to be activated after you have submitted all the needed documents. These documents will be instructed to you once you have created your profile.
This is the confirmation email after creating your online teacher account. Remember to enter your referrer name. In this case, that would be Teacher Day with Teacher ID (m790).
PHASE 4: Happy Teaching!
You are now part of the Bibo Family, all you have to do is sign your contract and submit other needed documents and wait for your online account activation. You will be receiving an email that confirms your account is active together with your login credentials. You can now start plotting your desired schedules to teach English Online.
Remember, the secret in passing the final assessment is to follow the Lesson Flow and don't forget to smile! Your student wants to learn English in a fun and easy way. Not the typical rigid classroom type. Be a friend and a teacher to them both at the same time!
